Strawberry & cherry and some floral notes. Nice balance and solid structure with good but not overwhelming acid and some nice lingering tannins. I'm pretty much chugging this wine. — 8 years ago
So rich on the nose, yet lively and spirited on the palate. Definitely a bit over my head, but certainly fun to be exposed to. — 8 years ago
Blue/black fruit, dried flowers, cedar, vanilla(?), with a hint of something green. Certainly opened up on day 2. Great balance and structure. Great wine on a cold and snowy night. — 8 years ago
Nice earth off right off the bat. Wouldn't have guessed California. Tart fruit and pretty lively. More subtle and delicious than I expected. — 8 years ago
Rustic and assertive and pretty delicious. I'd love to revisit several years down the road. — 8 years ago
Leather and fruit. Nice acid and pleasant tannin. Awesome with lasagna last night. — 8 years ago
Day 1 had a little funk up front that seemed to dissipate by day 2. Super tart red fruit, big acidity and decent grip. Quite tasty but needs some food. — 8 years ago

Now that's garrigue. And the fruit hiding out underneath. Oh, and that sandy texture. Yes please. — 8 years ago

Stewed strawberries, rocks and herbs, although it didn't show much on day 1. Days 3 and 4 were showing much better. Juicy fruit on the palate with chalky tannins. — 8 years ago
