100% sancgiovese classically rich Ricasoli wine. Rich fresh cherry flavors with still ample tannins. Delicious now and for years ahead.

As good maybe even a tad better than last time. Has moved towards that Burgundian dimension of Sangiovese. Nice, great PV.

Feb 25th, 2018Sorry for the challenging angle, but this was easy drinking. Great Sangiovese in a smooth as silk package, deep woodsy notes, sour cherry and vanilla. Will age. Seek out, great PV.

@ £31 a good food wine that paired very well but the £23 Antinori had the edge on QPR (see other review)

👃 Red & black cherries covered in cocoa w/ a touch of smoke, red currant & earth
👄 Med body in med+ tart acidity of vibrant red cherry & currant & slight dry tannin
