Albano, José, and Manuel Costa founded their winery in 1920, naming it after S. Joao, the patron saint of Bairrada. A blend of 40% Baga, 40% Touriga Nacional & 20% Cab Sauv, grapes planted in clay and limestone, less than 20 km from the Atlantic Ocean. Deep pink with fine bubbles and aromas of intense red fruits and herb floral notes. On the palate strawberry and cherry with mineral notes, good acidity, on the rich medium finish.
