A delicious CDR. Makes up for the last one I tasted. Excellent daily drinker at fantastic value. Don’t let the 89 rating fool you, I would totally drink this again. This is pushing 90 points and exhibits the best aspects of CDR. I think a 90 would require slightly better integration of the peppery notes but otherwise fantastic.

Not a true boisterous Cotes Du Rhone but it’s ankle biting younger brother, close to the spicy, tanney richness but not quite there. I imagine this is what a really expensive Cote Du Rhone would taste like if it was mixed with equal parts water
