Why does this wine age so quickly? Colour is medium garnet with some brown at the rim of the glass. Aromas of leather, sous bois and dried cherries would have me guessing 10–15 years old if I had this blind. Dried red fruit, leather, earth and rose hip on the palate. Medium tannins, medium finish.

Always great and one of my favorite etna producers. One of the best QPR wines I can regularly find. Punches well above it’s weight.

Getting a lot of clove. Not a lot of fruit.

Second vintage I have had of this. To me best way to describe it is a mix of Cru Beaujolais with a heavier Burgundy. Posses the playfulness of Beaujolais upfront, with much deeper concentrated elements of Burgundy has you get further in. Really great stuff. Crazy value around 20 a bottle.
