Big and brawny, this 15.9 ABV mountain Zin is complex. Med+ garnet color with rusty bricking telling it's age. Long legs with notes of cranberry, raisin and a mild smokiness. Nice acidity still.

Little pre-fathers day libation. Big, bold, and beautiful. Weighty and chewy. Cherry, spicebox and pepper. Loaded with alcohol - comes in at 15.9%. You know it’s there but it’s not overpowering. The finish is long and full of vanilla and spice. I ❤️ @Turley Wine Cellars.

Wine of the night. Colorado elk loin with berry glaze, riced cauliflower, Parmesan green beans and a winter beet salad.

Perhaps too young, but so good. A mix of black and red berries with a sublet core or vanilla and eucalyptus. Almost resembling a mixed berry compote in texture and complexity. The fruit pulls in a dozen ways while the gentle spice sings in the background.
