Cherries, roses, damp soil, finish a bit clipped and astringent so needs food but overall very solid. I won’t even give it the backhanded “good for the category” compliment—it’s just good, no qualifier necessary. Who says you can’t age basic Burg?

Wonderful. Very pure. Sappy. Earth and red cherries. The cherry vividness is stunning. Gorgeous aromas. Elegant and juicy. So deep and pure. Palate has perfect blend of a little fruit and earth. Awesome.

Best on day 2 with more red fruit shining through a pretty nose. Don’t give this too much oxygen. A couple hours max.
