A bit fatty, but delicious. Needs a half of an hour to open up on the nose.

Bought from a KLWM cellar deal online and afraid it is past its peak. Disappointing

After drinking a lot of rich and complex Cru Beaujolais this past year (2015 vintage contributing to the ripeness) it’s nice to slurp down something fresh and easy drinking like this to re-level the palate (and to save a few bucks). Aroma shows cranberry, cherry, bubblegum, and some fresh steminess. Palate is fruit-driven, has low tannin and acid, and finishes super clean. If you can get this for less than $15, I’d recommend this as a weeknight bottle for a simple meal or drinking on its own.

Follow up wine to rose. - Beaujolais on a warm day - really fun wild fruit , black cherry , slight earthy -good time to drink - seems like a blend of semi carbonic and regular fermentation

Pretty, with a surprising depth of finish. Never a bad idea to trade down in strong vintages

Rather simple and uninteresting. Hint of earth, carbonic, and a little smoke.
