Avant California Chardonnay

Light golden yellow with stone and tropical fruit aromas with floral notes. Pineapple and apple fruits on the palate, lemon zest, crisp, maybe too crisp, medium finish ending with fruit notes and mineral spice. Tasting Sample.

Had the sour apple taste. I'm not too partivularly fond of sourness but it was ok.

After a glass the hubby poured it out.

Rating is for avant- Chardonnay Delectable did not have this, only an avant- SB. Heavy and full bodied, fairly silky mouthfeel. Fruity with long tropical fruit finish. Decent for a full bodied chard. Nit special but no off notes. Not for you if you want something crisp and light.

Really nice light white wine. I prefer reds, but the body on thks was great. Dense, not too sweet.

Golden straw color, aromas of Granny Smith apples, lemon and soft minerals. Crisp, clean and refreshing- great citrus flavors, no oaky or buttery flavors- clean Chardonnay. I love it.

Delicious, crisp and light. With hints of oak and pear.

Light, crisp. Started to taste a little more buttery/oaky after 3 days in the fridge

Meh

Refreshing, but lacking a little in flavor. Used part of it for cooking and was not impressed with its performance compared with other wines used for same recipe. As for drinking, I'd probably try many other Chardonnay's before revisiting this one.
