Baron de Ley
Reserva Rioja Tempranillo
Sampled from a large format Jeroboam. Dark ruby color. Aromas of cooked red berries, leather, caramel, coconut and dried herbs. Dark fruit driven palate also shows notes of mushroom, tobacco, spices and dark chocolate. Nice hint of salty herbs on the finish. Good balance along with soft and satiny tannins. Aging well and still quite fresh tasting. Really appreciate you sharing this special bottle with us, Ron B!

Apr 21st, 2018An all right meaty wine. Strong on the palate with tastes of darker fruits. The finish wasn’t very pleasant though and subsequent glasses tasted worse than the initial one. Still a decent drink.
