Very ripe and jammy to me, a little tutti frutti. Beautiful ruby color. Overall a good wine but didn’t knock my socks off.

The plums are bright but they’re still kind of plummy. Very drinkable though, with just enough earthiness.

Black fruit, licorice, stewed berries, leather, thyme, cocoa, chocolate. A good Zin. Not too big even though 14.3%. Better with food.

87 pts reason being that I had my taste buds primed for a rollercoaster of a zin and I got a ferris wheel pleasurable but not extremely exciting.
