Intoxicating bouquet. Rich and complex and fresh. Plums, blackberries, and blueberries, and a hint of mint and cherries. Fabulous finish. A gorgeous wine.

Opened this last night and was not impressed - seemed very disjoint. Decided to put the cork back in and put it in the fridge to see if some time brought it into better focus. What a difference that day made. Beautiful aromas of candied strawberry, terrific depth, and a lingering finish. Probably the most dramatic change for an Aubert pinot I’ve witnessed. If you have this in your cellar, I’d suggest either decanting it for a few hours or let it sit for a couple of more years. You will be rewarded!

2013 - lots of dried bing cherry, concentrated and very smooth. Enjoyed with duck, sweet potato, smoked turkey.

Very nice Pinot. Nice red fruit with a bit of sassafras or root beer. Very food friendly.

If you like Pinot, this is one of the best made in Cali. It’s one of the few I really enjoy.

At home. Not a better turkey wine on the planet. After 4 bottles of billecart rose, a magnum of Peter Michael mon plaisir a magnum of Aubert Pinot UV (which I liked less). This wine is round with a beautiful raspberry nose. At 15 degrees well integrated just drinking superbly. What’s next ??

At home. Simply the best Cali producer of chards and pinots. Very round, hoisin sause, Forest soil, acidity just enough to cut through the richness. Each drop begs for the next one. Thanksgiving in LA is our yearly fix of Aubert wines and boy what a fix it is. Love these wines

Wow, this is fantastic. So many complex layers of flavor without any heaviness.
