Nothing compelling to say, just that it’s definitely the right decision. Oh, and sorry Mom and Dad, I raided your cellar... (I definitely don’t have any 2014 left).

In a more fruit forward style as always, but a short rest in the bottle has helped this focus a bit. Bright red fruit with cedar, licorice, and the signature orange peel. Delicious and utterly gulpable.

14.1% alc.
A talented winemaker can work with any varietal and succeed.

The style here will not win any medals for elegance or subtlety but I think it is a good QPR and there's always a time/place for every wine.....

'14 Sonoma Coast. Always a pleasure to drink. High acid, beautiful purity of dark fruit. Sings after a few hours in the decanter.

A heady, perfumed Pinot Noir. Intoxicating blood orange, spiced cherry, bacon, loam and scorched earth. Penetrates the palate with authority, but maintains an air of ethereality. Dizzying. Extraordinary regardless of its value.
