From a couple of nights ago. Absolutely fantastic. I was a bit concerned opening up one of these without a few hours in the decanter, but this edition of Merus is really approachable in its (relative) youth. Well-integrated tannins, this wine is just beginning to show some secondary flavors and aromatics - easily has 5-7 years of evolution ahead of it - but if you have a couple in your cellar I’d recommend pulling one now and try the next one in 2025. Outstanding cab from Napa.

Coombsville! First time trying a wine from the new AVA and it didn't disappoint. Great balance and structure, ripe black fruit without being over done. Nice polished finish rounds out a solid wine.
