The young ‘03 Bordeaux was very hot and showing a lot of alcohol. At almost 15 they are in a very nice spot with ample air. This is a stand alone wine and really fun to one to stop and study. Concentrated blue and black fruit, gravel, soil and herbs. A majestic wine with broad shoulders and a voluptuous mouthfeel. Deep purple smoke on the water and fire in the sky. Still building weight and gravitas and will improve for many years to come.

Classic '03 vintage, good balance though, showing some oak, but integrated.

In principio legnoso poi veramente elegante delicato e fresco. Nulla da dire

Lighter color than the 2000. Walnut and pecan on the nose. Currant, coco, raspberry and dark fruits. Drink up.

2003 vintage. To infinity and beyond. Throwing a vintage portesque amount of sed. In the nose, post-rain earth, dried shrooms, infinitesimal hint of milk chocolate. Light-medium bod. Maan…did that finish, Cranberries-style, linger. Do you have to do you have to bring that much cedar and chocolate-covered espresso bean to the show? At the top of the bell curve and would seem to effortlessly have another decade double-parked there. Imho, consistently shows the best of the 1st growths with the least. Courtesy of @Bill Bender
