Pagliaro Secco Montefalco Sagrantino

After two corked Rosso de Veo’s...I popped this in frustration. Intense dark and red fruits. Pretty wound up for being a ten year old. Drink with patience or hold.

Insane. Tar, black olive, cocoa nib, cigar smoke, black cherry...just an outrageous bottle of wine.

This will knock your socks off. Lucious on the front, great tannin to give you a little something. The nose is interesting and layered, dimensions of red berry and fruit, peppers, juicy, and connected oak. Awesome.

Powerful brooding wine, but great balance and too young right now! I’d like to get a few of these to took away for another 10 years

From magnum. Young but pretty delicious.

Phenomenal. Wow. A bit bigger and richer than other vintages I’ve had. But with air I suspect it will sing.

Big, deep fruits without being sweet. Tannic without being offputting. Incredibly balanced, with so much care taken in making this wine. Paolo Bea Tasting 4/5.
