Way young, lots of sharp tannins until decanted, then mellowed and gained depth. Give it another couple of years.

When I rated this wine about a year and a half ago, I said it had potential, but that the elements needed to knit together. I'm happy to report that those elements are coming together nicely now. Very solid QPR on a clean, elegant, harmonious Syrah.
