Chopped cherry tree nose leads a seamless, light red fruit-driven core, very low acidity. Pomegranate, bing cherry. Burg meets old Barbaresco, not like any cab franc I’ve tasted.

Not a great showing. Some oak notes meet a thin palate and intense tannins. Might just need more time, but not my favorite vintage of this bottling.

Funky, green pepper, leafy, cool raspberry fruit, damp autumn leaves. Airy and almost weightless. Sappy tannins with relatively long finish. An unusual Cabernet Franc, but I can see why Burgundy lovers would make an exception for this producer. Would consider buying if prices were more reasonable.
