Nicolas Potel has always done very elegant and understated wines with lots of complexity. This one is no different. Elegant rather than powerful, cherry, rose fannee, violets, really velvety tannins on an incredibly balanced grand cru that is a pleasure to drink or can be hold for some time. Lacks a tiny bit of body for a Clos de Beze hence the score. Highly recommended.
