May 20th, 2015Pale yellow with jasmine and toast aromas, medium bodied with high viscosity, stone fruit flavors with oakey, rounded acidity. Reminds me of Rhone white blends, Chardonnay. Very well-made, but I do really like the lighter fresh NZ style.

I drink this wine as part of a Hallwine tasting event at Trezo Mare. This is one exceptional sauvignon blanc. It does not have the grassy or citrusy nose or taste like so many do!

Fresh and citrusy. Sharp light flavor. A little alcoholy. If you let it rest for a while the sharpness dissipates slightly. Overall tastes like alcohol water with a touch of lemon. I'm surprised Wine Enthusiast gave this 91 points.
