First Cesanese and it was surprisingly good. Never expect much good wine out of Latium, but this changed my opinion. Worked perfectly with homemade mushroom and ham pizza.

May 7th, 2017Trying a rare grape! Like a peppery pinot. Translucent, brownish red. Floral nose. Earthy, coffee, and light cherry. Somewhat savory. Def needs to breathe. It's a good 2nd day wine!

2013 vintage on 03/23/16. Perfect food wine. Nice acidity and weight that doesn't interfere with the food but rather compliments it. More muted floral nose, med to light bodied with a hint of sour cherry at the end-all in a good way!
