A good wine from a challenging year. Medium bodied, aromas of sage and leather. Signatures of licorice, tar and plumbs. Very drinkable right now and perfect this evening with delicious stew for the winter.

Very good, you can smell the cab franc but the palate is expressive of well made Bordeaux. Grippy tannins, complex aromas, and flavors. Yum

Long decant brought out the very best of this reasonably priced beast. Big nose of oak and dark smoky black fruit, black earth. Full of grip and leathery notes on a core of dark red cherry and black tea. Could go longer but no reason to wait.
