Coravinned tasting. Deep ruby red, almost purplish. A bit tight on the nose. After 30 minutes in the glass this came out thick and rich with dark chocolate, coconut, vanilla, cocoa butter, and black cassis. Well integrated on the tannins front (7/10) and full bodied. Lovely texture, real silky with notes of dark berries, dark sweet spices, milk chocolate, and a little floral too. Long and lingering finish but still a baby. Drink till 2028.

6/21/23. Last dinner in RVA with Jess and Ban. Quilceda never disappoints, especially when it has some more age on it

2 hour decant(some cloudy sediment). An impressive inky ruby red color. On the nose: black fruit, toasty vanilla, floral, blue fruit, spice, and old leather. Taste: creamy, juicy wine with plum, leather, smoke, tobacco, blueberry, and a slightly bitter dark chocolate long finish. YUM!
