Taurasi is often called the "Barolo of the South" but it's so much more than a copy cat. Aglianico this good deserves its own spotlight.

Needs a lot of air, but opens up beautifully. Structure is well integrated and not too chewy or sharp. Beautiful tar and leather surrounding dark fruit. Has at least another 10 years to maturity.

Rich, dense, musky ripe blackberries, smoked meat, dark minerals, strong but fitting tannins. Big, big, big wine!
