A surprisingly easy-going sleeper that may still be on your favorite shelf, if you’re lucky. The Syrah and Merlot work in a wonderful harmony and hit the “Simple note” in all the right ways. A soft but rich approach follows a truly intriguing nose. The aroma seems to be spelled out by the Merlot, and the length of is follows along the lines of the Syrah. As it breathes and opens it really does reach to new levels- and I am genuinely impressed. While it cheap, the Promis brings something to the table that (I think) is unique. It’s a brilliant little blend that’s going to be winning hearts at a price point that Gaja, for the moment, is clearly and delightfully dipping into.

Fabulous wine. Dinner for the first night in Boca. Gaja. Simply amazing. Supple, but bold. Great Super Tuscan - just gorgeous. Ricky Z - this is our thing!!!!!
