Jun 24th, 2017Even after an hour in the glass, the nose is reticent and slightly green. Cranberry and mint. A nice blast of fruit in the mouth. Herbal and nicely acidic. Slightly harsh tannins midpalate as the fruit faded. A long menthol finish.
Cut beautifully through duck and sweetbreads. I wanted more from it, but I suspect that the best years are yet ahead.
