Particularly soft and supple considering its mostly mountain fruit. Was expecting more depth and aggressive tannins but it was very elegant and pretty.

PnP. Unfortunately it had to follow some great wines and was over the hill. Medium red color and dominated by stewed fruit and hints of graphite. Bordeaux like nose but rough on the palate at this point. Last bottle.

Apr 10th, 2022Neal never stops impressing!!! Would have guessed Bordeaux all the way. 1hr+ decant. Nose of dark cherries, cedar, and menthol. Blue and black fruit on the palate with well integrated alcohol. Medium depth and medium plus finish. Reminds me of Chateau Pontet-Canet but 1/5 of the price. Neal rocks!!
