Nose has ripe blackberry, mashed blueberry, light cedar, spring voilets and tanned leather.

Palate has rich (!!) chocolate covered blackberry, mullberry, blueberry seeds, blackberry jam, moist earthy loamy soil and wet sand.

In a very nice spot tonight after a 4-hour decant. A perfect pair alongside local, grass-fed beef patties on a super hot grill, great crust and warm middle.

Also a great accompaniment to Robert Glasper's newest project, R+R=Now, Collagically Speaking, a great West Coast style jazz album, keeping with the Glasper-style, but adding some serious players surrounding him. On Blue Note for this release, so serious respect from the industry.

Great French wine, make sure to let it breathe for at least an hour, but great compliment to a fish or chicken dish.

Another well rounded Cabernet driven Bordeaux blend. Excellent vintage, loads of spice and nice clarity of fruit.

Stewed blackberries, dried plums, cassis, cacao, bell pepper, tobacco, leather, cloves. Balanced rounded acidity/smooth velvet tannins, full bodied, juicy-satin texture, long fruity-earthy-slightly peppery finish. Well integrated oak, finely balanced fruit with hints of mature secondary notes beginning to show themselves. From an excellent cellar worthy vintage.

Dark currant on nose with a smidgen of freshness. The palate is medium+ with fresh dark fruit and fine tannins
