Macerated cherry, cherry compote. Leather, tobacco. Strong tannic presence and a wildly long finish - total winner. Strong and elegant.

Dark garnet in color. Earthy nose with cigar box and black cherry. Deep palate with licorice, leather, herbs, olive and dark fruit. Minerals, tannins lend structure. A harmonious package with years to run. Superior.

Fragrant sangio opulence, bruised fig and graphite but very very young. A sound, sexy baby bear that needs some hibernation time in the cave. Check back spring of 2020.

Clearly way too young of course but wanted to see what this is tasting like now. Gorgeous fruit but you can definitely pick up the Italian dirt. Wonderful wine.
