Ended a bit flabby and single note with acid, but overall good. First gamay over a decade

Sort of smells like moist humid air with dark red berry and red plum skin. Palate is a bit chalky. A bit flatter than I thought it would be, but still good fruit, spice and decent tannin.

Very nice cru Beaujolais with some great bottle age. A bit brick red in the glass, you can see the age. Excellent purity of red fruit with secondary characteristics poking through. Nice and mouth filling with a great long finish, acid keeping things refreshing.

I liked this a lot. Soft tannins. Still nice verve from the acidity. Time to drink these.

Tawny with faded edges. Very soft--slight tannic edge. Blackberry, cherry liqueur, black tea, some minerality. Slight bubblegum note at the start that reminds one of Lapierre Morgan. Buy in magnum, this is eminently quaffable.

Faded. Brown juice with no tannin and super dark, cooked, stewed fruit.

I’ve had the 04 recently and it was much better so I’m guessing this 07 hasn’t been stored correctly.

Dark cherry. Little hit if a cough syrup thing going on but in a good way. Plenty of life left in this.
