Castello di Fonterutoli Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Striking deep purple red color, fresh red fruit nose and mouthful flavors of raspberry cherry and spices. Incredibly vibrant for a 10+ year old Chianti

Was expecting more. Oak too dominant.

So much joy and pleasure in this wine. A little ripe and round, but that's to be expected with a 2007. It doesn't strike me as "classic" Tuscan Sangiovese, but when it's this good, who cares?

Thats pretty with carnitas tacos.
