Barolo Nebbiolo

Worth the experience. Still has tart acidity, tannins gone. Caramel but not sweet. Fun !

DOA, brick brown and nose like an old attic

Aged out. This wine should have had everything going for it: great fill, a sediment crust indicating good storage, and an origin in a place known to produce long-lived bottles. However, no fruit, no tannin, no red, a little oxidized, a little volatile. Too bad.

Toffee, maderized notes of nuts, dried fruits, earth. Amazing. Happy Birthday birth year Barolo, Cindy!
