Leather, cedar, cloves but above all a lot of roses, yes it's old but excellent balance. This is a sentimental wine, bought it when I was 18 years old and it was my first Bordeaux Grand Cru Classé. 1975 is an extremely difficult year with green tannins. Some wines never came à Point. This wine delivered. Awesome

a good bottle of aged Bordeaux just sort of speaks so correctly, yknow? Fully mature, fruit still present, lovely texture and aromatics, classic all around. Wow.

Tannins resolved almost to the point of too-softness. pillowy texture, big old-Margaux floral-barnyard nose, + plum, spice, wood, forest floor. Thanks @Jon Fine !
