Domaine Jean-Louis Chave
Hermitage Blanc Marsanne Roussanne

Showing lighter gold in the glass than the Le Meal. Chave can do no wrong with me. Loads of honeyed stone fruit, white peach/nectarine, campfire marshmallow. Power and precision with oily, high glycerin textural nirvana.

Hah, I can see why you could call this overdone Cali Chardonnay, such phenolics with oh so much oak, it did improve the next day, but some of the freshness had fallen off also, never really had much pleasure from this one.

A little storage issues somewhere along the way. A little too cidery/oxidation going on.

Lovely wine. These wines need age. Just entering it’s prime.
