2003 vintage. From Jay. 2003 Bartolo Mascarello - Brief Note from Galloni Historical Retrospective Held in London April 26, 2016. Slightly restrained on the nose for a hot vintage. Very fruit forwards and lush on the palette. Slightly decadent. Good acidity despite the year. Finish is of good length. Impressive given the nature of the vintage (40 day with temperatures north of 40c). Colour is slightly murky. 91/100. Drink now to 2020.
