Dusty red fruit and burned earth. Totally rustic and perfect for a charcuterie plate and duck breast entree.

There is more acid than you'd expect but a wonderful finish that doesn't overstay it's welcome.

Come a long way in 2 years. Crushed rock and spicy mid palate. Tannins are still prominent but in a pleasing , grippy way. It gives the wine some testicular backbone. Gorgeous with time to go in the cellar

Beautiful wine, but needs time. Wet rock, huge spice but somehow subtle and exerting serious finesse. Would love to see in 5 years.

Until recently, I had not tasted this wine since 2002. Still amazing, full-bodied, rich, luscious. I had it in San Francisco with rotisserie chicken smothered in porcini mushroom sauce. Amen to that!!!

Just OK. Little "thin" for me. Wine was also served too warm in restaurant.

Fine, bright Grenache dominant blend. Nice now. Nicer in 5-10 years.

Infanticide. Opened up in the glass, but very young and primary.

Smooth wine upfront and becomes heavier at end. Lots of dark fruit, with tabacco, earthy, and olives toward end. High alcohol @15%

new to this style, liked the blend, just not amazing. $32 buy, will try something else next.
