Cork disintegrated. With little particles floating in my glass, I’m enjoying an amazing Syrah.

The 2011 ‘Dark Blossom’ by Sin Que Non is a stunning aged wine that is showing marvelously at nearly ten years of age. On the nose this translucent colored Grenache reveals bright red berry and citrus blossom aromas that combine marvelously with the underbrush and earthy undertones. On the palate this shows off its silky mouthfeel with red cherry candy, guava, and shades of nectarine rind with wild mushroom that give this an exotic edge. While this is marvelous now, it has a decade left in it. Drink 2019-2029- 94

Very dark and syrupy. Intense plummy fruit. Broad, sweet, gloopy- like someone dropped cheap perfume in a pot of plum jelly...Way over the top.

A group of guys decided to meet up at our Wine Storage facility and bust out some unique bottles! Scores and notes to follow!

Many thanks to Keith for busting this out. A few of us mentioned we haven't had an SQN wine before, so he graciously brought this out. Silky at pop and pour but better after two hours. Dark fruit. Bacon fat. Nothing harsh about it. Divine and absolutely lush. This was a great primer to get me ready for
@Shawn R 's SQN wine dinner this Sunday. My official Wine Nerd Herd interview! 🤞🏼

Dark fruit, oak is forward and expected. I am sure the oak disappears and black and blue fruit come forward nicely.

Great 2011, the year we got married, had this for our anniversary. Very fruit-forward but not hot or over the top.

Showing slight heat at first but it blew off rapidly evolving in to the tell tale SQN density and punch that draws you to the edge but doesn't push too far. Ripe dark fruit, pepper, charred wood. Beautifully textured and inviting mouthfeel.

First time with this wine--aptly named. This is dark, wound up and maniacally brooding upon opening. A little air time and it started to come to life- smoked berry, burnt chocolate. This is huge, intense and persistent, but not "burning". Really enjoyed this--thanks @Bill Bender !

So many layers and a silky texture...dark, rich, but retains a lot of finesse.
