A very interesting aged Napa Cabernet. The nose presented like an aged Bordeaux with notes of forest floor, mushroom, leather and clove with no fruit showing through. The palate however showed soft, aged plum notes along with oak, spice and earth and rounded out by a still very lively acidity.
