Mid Crimson in colour - bright and clear. Nose of cherry compote, Rose, and Forest Floor. Amazing fresh cherry sappy fruit @ 13 years Berry Bros (London) rate 2004 at only 5/10 for Red Burgundy but the quality of the site and the skill of the producer over rides the average vintage. In short an elegant balanced and gorgeous Grand Cru - we loved it - a privilege to drink. The only food match is Duck Breast!!

Red and black fruits, very aromatic showing lots of baking spices, rich and powerful describe what I am experiencing. Rousseau nailed the tough 04 vintage.
