Deep blue fruit, black pepper, tangy cherry, blood. This is young but really delicious.

A baby and a shame I had to drink it this young, but I don't have another option, considering this is $733 a bottle! Flinty and with notes like a freshly lit lighter or burned paper that will, over time, distinguish it further from Le Méal, this wine at the moment is still full of blueberry fruit and rosemary herbal notes, violet, and the classic black pepper of Hermitage. Still very young for a 2010. Big and strong.
