Another gorgeous bottle of Gloria. The nose is intoxicating in and of itself, with perfumed notes of cedar, mint, anise, field berries, and flowers. The palate is still a bit austere, but not enough to turn me away.. beautiful texture, soft red fruits, some minerals, and a seamless finish. Gloria continues to impress.

Dark Ruby with purple edges. This full-body wine is not as powerful as the 2009, but still fantastic. Aromas of juicy black fruits and cedar spice. Palate displays ripe fruit, blackberries and juicy cherries round fine tannins combined with some mineral notes on the long finish. Very nice offering. Will last for some time.

Needs quite a lot of time to open up. Robust tannins and appeals to clove and mace. Dark fruit buried in youth. Sumptuous mid palate suggests better things to come.

Curious to see how the 2010 vintage is drinking - needs more time to soften those tannins! Great potential, dark fruits, hints of vanilla and coffee. Will revisit in a few years.
