Lots of asparagus and bell pepper on the nose. Leather and smoked meat, followed with some sour cherry. Very silky and bright acidity holds the structure. I can feel it is a little bit tired. Past its prime but decent. 13% alc. 1988 vintage

This was a special treat. 1988 and still so fresh. Great complexity, good fruit, leather, little herbal note and perfect balance. Nice long finish with good acidity.
