Umami, vibrant And fresh. Iron, floral hints. Aging great - going strong.

This wine is amazing right now. Graphite is in the nose. Lots of ripe fruit - cherry , baked blueberry, warm baking spice along with hoisin sauce laden with soy overtones-green strawberry on the outer rim. Think Texas bar-b-q sauce with blueberry overtones. Tannins are present and wrapped up with the fruit. Excellent wine.

Celebrating first pick of 2014 Rattlesnake Rock with a bottle of '04. Still going strong - beautiful kirsch/huckleberry fruit, vibrant on palate with nice structure and a long finish. Not sure it will get better than this....if you have a bottle liberate it

Dense, well integrated, seductive black fruit. Needs a decant to unwind. In a prime drinking window yet still seaming to get better with time
