Leather and menthol nose, hard candy on palate, tannic, long finish. Rustic, great with steak and truffle. 2 hour decant and got much better after dinner at around 4 hours after opening.

Fun tasting of two vintages: 1985 & 2015. The 1985 had a darker, almost soda color and had a smoother finish. Delicious!

A pleasant barnyardy nose at first which gave way to a little more fruit over time. Still so bright, with delightful acid.
