Haven’t been down under for a while. This is really nice, tho. Nice nose of treacle toffee and coffee grinds. The palate displays a deep reduction, complimented by violets and balsamic notes. Picks up intensity and urgency. 12 years in - very cool.

A great wine. Not as dry and spicy as most Shiraz’s I have had in the past, but super smooth with a bit of a jammy note in the middle of the palate, and a nice dry finish. Truly happy with this buy.
