Very nice. It’s the least fruity of the spatlese on the lineup. Faint lemon-lime but mostly stony minerality with elegant herbal undertones and hint of reduction. Austere on the palate, which I think will unwind well with time especially as the sugar takes a backseat

Young, current release, so a little closed on the nose. Lime and apple and slate. Pure fireworks on the palate. Sweet juicy melon and grass. Chalky sweet tarts. Mouth watering. Very kinetic, the sweetness is perfectly balanced by the acidity. Can only hope to reencounter this bottle once it's rested a few years, or decades.
