Root beer and mint on the nose, lush fruit on the palate, but not jammy, integrated alcohol. Doesn't evolve much. — 8 years ago
Peach, lime zest, gun flint and steel. Both rich and kinetic. A beautiful wine. — 8 years ago
Dark, herbal, heavy, rich. Stewed figs and cocoa with black licorice and chalky soil tannins. Cedar and smoke. Violets and plums. Blankets the 15.5abv well. Enjoyed with fajitas. — 7 years ago
Heady aromas of musk and truffle. Volcano ash and ripe cherries. On the palette, tart delicious fruit: raspberry, strawberries, blackberries too. It evolves. Soon the nose shows black pepper and tomato leaf. The palette develops similar spice. An exciting wine, particularly for the price. — 8 years ago
Young, current release, so a little closed on the nose. Lime and apple and slate. Pure fireworks on the palate. Sweet juicy melon and grass. Chalky sweet tarts. Mouth watering. Very kinetic, the sweetness is perfectly balanced by the acidity. Can only hope to reencounter this bottle once it's rested a few years, or decades. — 8 years ago

A really interesting, deep bouquet of ripe fruit, earth and musk from 70 year old Grenache vines. A surprising find for 20 odd bucks. Great value from the Southern France. Less power and concentration than, say, CDP, but a great weekday wine for fans of Rhône Grenache blends. — 7 years ago
Would love to taste this after some age. It's young and delicious if just a bit primary. Nuts, honey, and birthday cake icing. — 8 years ago
