2004. The best producer of Pinot alongside Eyrie. And no one talks about it! So much overhyped crap out there. Clos Saron is the real deal. 👌🏽

About every two or three months, this is my favourite producer worldwide. They manage to capture each vineyard site perfectly, showcasing their Terroir and their belief in simply made wines. This 2006 is still youthful, possessing richness, great minerality, lifted acididy and a cool combination of its lush mid-palate yet completely stripped finish.

Never had one of Gideon's pinots before and this is really great...a cliche but this is really Burgundian. Elegant stuff and will definitely develop a while longer

A pinot showing great elegance. Firm structure and chewy tannins, graphite and strawberry fruit.
