Métis Syrah Grenache Mourvedre

Dark fruits, vanilla, a touch of herbs.

Orange peel and blue fruits jump out of the glass. Some herbs and anise, too. This will benefit from at least another year in the cellar.

The aromatics on the wine are insane! Palate is rich, with lots of dark fruit. Great wine for $27

Way underrated. This is the real deal

70% Syrah, but the 25% Grenache is what shows. Translucent and light bodied. Reminiscent of cotton candy or bubble gum. Not sure of the vineyards, but this strikes me as typical of Upland or Olsen.
