Sur Spilite Anjou Gamay

Dense, pure, green, dark, brooding. Sick nose. Hot, dilute so far and huge tannins. But it Is all there. This usually needs 2-3 days to open.

Terrific, ripe fruit, cooling earth/menthol tones. Nice acidity and very forward. 50 cab Franc/Cab S. A bit of heat keeps this from being great.

Dark, dense wine with lots of plum and green pepper. Dusty minerality and black licorice too. Big and chewy on the palate, seems quite modern in style. Satisfyingly delicious.

An uncommon gamay that falls apart at the seams. No body or backing at all.

Little brett not light bodied as one may expect. Rustic village wine. Good swallow.
